FORGIVENESS AND UNFORGIVENESS
Find Healing for your soul
The message of forgiveness has come strongly from the Throne of God, from the Father’s heart to us. It seems the smallest things in life that we ignore are the most important before the Throne of God. You see just like Katherine Mary Baxter and many others who have encountered Heaven and Hell, they all testify the same truth that there is no place for an unforgiving heart in Heaven, otherwise Heaven wouldn’t be an eternally perfect and holy place for us to go to. But all those with unforgiveness are turned away, filled with regret, they are shunned, chained by their own bitterness and unforgiveness and led into eternal damnation in hell. This is very sad and heartbreaking. God has driven this message deep into my heart and it is one that I too now cannot avoid but boldly declare it. God wants you to be free and eventually join him in Heaven not end up in hell for a such a thing as unforgiveness. As I share this I encourage you to do some soul-searching, repent of your hardened and unforgiving heart and accept forgiveness and be healed completely. Our own unforgiveness is a stumbling block to our faith and a hinderance to our blessings.
There is much to reveal on this topic since my encounter with the LORD JESUS Christ which occurred in a powerful vision I had last year May 2012 the LORD opened my eyes to not only see the message of Revival but of healing and the main one pointed to me was FORGIVENESS. Brothers and Sisters this message is for all of us to keep us in the way of God and guide us to His eternal light. Amen!
(KJV) Proverbs 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.
(KJV) Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
(KJV) Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.
People who read this verse often say, how can God not forgive isn’t He a forgiving God? Yes God is the Author of Forgiveness. However, in this scripture God is also faithful to His spoken word and once He has spoken He cannot go back on it. In this passage God is laying down a principle of the wisdom of forgiveness which He Himself now cannot alter. The main reason being that there is no unforgiveness in God and thus there is no unforgiveness in heaven and those who harbour unforgiveness are certain to miss out on heaven. Listen you can do all the right things in the world and even serve the LORD faithfully but the bile of unforgiveness will deny you the right to enter into your inheritance in Heaven.
You might argue with me and say, “but I have accepted Christ in my heart and isn’t Jesus the way to the Father?” Yes He is but Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did not come to be an example of unforgiveness but of forgiveness. In fact on the cross from which He hung He uttered one of the most powerful phrases ever, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”. So think of it. Even through his suffering right up to the cross on which He was crucified instead of cursing His accusers He prays to the Father to forgive them. So Christ did not just preach forgiveness He lived forgiveness even up to the point of death. Forgiveness is a key principle of the Kingdom of God. God has spoken this principle into existence through Jesus Christ. If you cannot forgive those who have offended you, how then can you expect forgiveness from God our Father?
Unforgiveness is a form of pride and pride in the heart is sin. Pride and sin cannot enter Heaven. Neither can pride and sin commune with the LORD GOD who blesses us and keeps us. When the heart is bounded by pride destruction is soon to follow. Arguments expose the inner hurt and bitterness of unforgiveness harboured up in the heart. The weight of unforgiveness can cause a man to hate and even kill. It depends on the offence committed. Forgiveness is much more powerful than unforgiveness in that it is the light that raises you up into freedom out of the pits of darkness. Unforgiveness will drag you down into darkness and lock you in the chains of your hurt, your past, and your regrets.
Forgiveness starts from the heart. Forgiveness is not complete until you also forget the offense. Just as our Father in Heaven who loved us so much He forgave us and has blotted out all records of our sins and all of these records of our wrongs are no longer pinned against our names anymore but erased by the BLOOD OF JESUS. We are free of the stain of sin through the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
