I WILL PRAISE YOU IN THE STORM by Norman Sabadi

I open with the passage in Psalm 23:4, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for thou are with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me

Many times in the storm many would easily become worried and stressed about the situation they are in. The idea of praising God in the storm is not something natural to us. We mourn in sorrow and become bitter and angry in strife and war.

So what does it really mean to praise God in the storm?

God’s answer to this question is His covenant and promise to us is forever faithful and He will be with us through the storm and even after it, right to the end. Many would rather avoid the storm and go around it, however there is an issue with that. How do you become stronger in life if there is no storm to test the strength of your sail and the durability of your ship? For the optimist there is always a better weather, and reaching a horizon, that inspire their vision to thrive even in the midst of the storm.

But let’s develop on the answer that God’s promise is ever steadfast for us and He is our anchor and solid Rock, our banner of victory, our place of refuge, our Salvation, our Redeemer, and our Deliverer in all situations.

The storm that you are going through right now may feel like a battle you just can’t win, but the Lord says do not be afraid, nor dismayed, but be still and know that He is God and that the battle is the LORD’s.

If the battle is the Lord’s then the victory is obviously ours in God; who not only goes with us but FOR US because He is forever by our side.

Imagined the Lord of Hosts, yes with all His army of angels forever watchful over His children and standing right by us, in fact they surround as multitude that not even a single hair on our head is touched. If you are stuck in a situation right now and need some answers I suggest you look to God where your help comes from. Let heavens capability be demonstrated in your faith when you turn to God and say alright God, I am handing this battle over to you so take charge, take control and do what you know best, that is to win this battle for me and I will simply go into my battle mode with you, which is to WAIT ON YOU AND PRAISE YOU! Now that is wisdom and uncommon knowledge for victory. Passages like Psalm 91, Psalm 121, Psalm 27 and Zech 4:6-10 are good places to start.

Yes, you may feel like you are riding this storm on your own but you aren’t really, because Jesus Christ our Lord, the Captain of your Salvation is on the boat with you. Will you hand over the steering wheel to Him?

God wants you to put on the garment of praise, because praise is the sign that God is not only able to breakthrough for you but He will provide above and beyond all you needs. Praise is God’s weapon against the enemy; that wicked adversary that stands to attack you, because the enemy doesn’t want you to experience God’s good will, tender mercies, and joy unspeakable. The devil wants you to fix your eyes on your situation and not on the Deliverer. You see when God is become the centre of your focus, the problem you face looses its power to sting and defeat you. Instead that storm becomes the instrument for your change and breakthrough because you have chosen to make the LORD of the Storm your Captain.

God uses situations also as a sign of changing seasons and transitions in our lives to mark that the necessary changes must happen in our lives to move us forward.

So I urge to get your praise on. Be bold in your praise and thanksgiving to God; these are your weapons of might and victory against any storm and any enemy, doesn’t matter the size, God will give victory to you just as He did when David faced Goliath, and Israel was delivered from the hand of the Pharaoh of Egypt.

The good news about what I just told you is this, you can start right now, although you might not feel like it, take your eyes of the problem and set your eyes on praising God. Be thankful because thankfulness is your open door to the opportunities that lie before you.

Praise does something on the inside of you and makes you rise up above the storm. The sooner you praise the quicker you will be out of the storm. the longer you praise, the less you will have to worry about that passing storm. When “praise to God” fills you and overflows your heart, it will spill over like gushes of living water into your life to change everything around you. Praise delivers peace and joy from Heaven into your spirit and this peace within is already enough to calm the storm. yes, I speak to you the truth of uncommon wisdom. It’s not the option that many would choose immediately, yet it is the best option and works all the time because God is the Lord over all things and therefore He is the answer to all your problems.

This is the POWER OF PRAISING GOD. Praise is your uncommon method for your uncommon success.

So get to it, don’t waste a single moment. If you need to ask God for something right now, like forgiveness and wisdom, do so right now, it will do you plenty of good. A soul filled with peace is a well watered garden that will bless many.

NO STORM GREATER THAN OUR GOD WHOM WE PRAISE. WHEN LIFT UP THE NAME AND GLORY OF GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS, HEAVEN’S POWER AND MIGHT ARE RELEASED TO BRING US VICTORY IN EVERY SEASON OF OUR LIVES.

PRAISE IN ACTION IS FAITH IN ACTION. SO GET YOUR GARMENT OF PRAISE ON, AND YOUR FAITH WILL PRODUCE THE EVIDENCE OF ABUNDANT RESOURCES AWAITING YOU.

God bless!
